—Hello again proggers—

Last devlog before ship. Cleaned everything up, hit one small hiccup when WSL somehow got deleted mid-session, but everything works now and 6.1.0 is ready to drop.

WSL just vanishing is a new one, even for this project

Cat or dog? wsl --install

Okay let's get into it~

—Yap—

Final polish pass before pushing 6.1.0 out, following straight on from devlog #61's readiness status. One unexpected environment hiccup along the way, resolved before it could actually block anything.

—The Great Suffering—

1 — General Cleanup

Went through and tidied up loose ends ahead of the actual release, the kind of pre-ship pass that catches small stuff before it's public.

2 — WSL Got Deleted

Mid-session, WSL just got deleted somehow. Not entirely sure how, genuinely. Fixed it and moved on, but it's a strange one to add to the pile of weird environment issues this project's had.

an entire subsystem vanishing is a new flavor of chaos

3 — 6.1.0, Ready

Everything's cleaned up, the WSL hiccup's resolved, and 6.1.0 is genuinely ready for drop. Following through on devlog #61's status, this is the final green light.

—FAQ (no one asked these but they are here)—

Q: What is a "progger"?
A: A human programmer. You. The one whose Linux subsystem just up and disappeared mid-cleanup.

Q: Was 6.1.0 delayed by the WSL issue?
A: No, resolved quickly enough not to hold anything up.

Q: Is this the same 6.1.0 from devlog #61?
A: Same release, this is the final cleanup pass before it actually ships.

Q: Any idea what caused WSL to get deleted?
A: Not really, chalking it up to one more weird environment gremlin.

Q: What's next after 6.1.0 ships?
A: The shared play/Streamer Queue rework and Ward system integration planned for 7.0.0, per devlog #61.

—This is the end*—

*end for now, WSL installs permitting
